Evening with the Overbaughs

Jason and Angie had never been on the Alpine Coaster in Park City, so we thought it would be a great activity to do with the kids. It had been so long since we'd all been together. We used to hang out all the time before we had kids and before they moved away from our hood. Angie and I see each other quite a bit, but it had been a while since we'd seen Jason.

We had a great time. We went to dinner at our favorite Midway restaurant, Tarahumara and then headed off to Park City to enjoy the beautiful weather. We lucked out because the guys taking the tickets didn't really take our tickets. We offered - I promise. But, they weren't that busy and they let us keep riding. We got in three rides for the price of one - and one ride is $18 for the driver and a passenger is $6. It is a little pricey, but a lot of fun. Three times was enough for me! I was getting a slight headache from all the jerking around.

We finished off the night by driving back home through American Fork Canyon in the dark. It was quite the adventure!

Hey Lis,
We had a great time, even though my "shortcut" home was a wee bit bumpy and long. Next time we will let the GPS lead us home! Thanks for the fun night!

Lisa-
What a fun surprise to see your comment this morning. I love seeing your cute family too. Isn't the internet great?! Yes, we just moved to Overland Park too. Shelly doesn't check her blog often and may not have known how to reply back. Tell your mom and Caryn hello. How are they doing these days? Thanks for reconnecting.

How fun! I haven't seen Jason, probably since his wedding, or shortly there after. I take that back ... I do remember running into him at a Home Depot when he was building his first house. What a beautiful family he and Angie have. It's nice that you guys stay in touch.
