It's 10:30 and Max is crying in his room. He apparently isn't ready to go to sleep. He did this last night, too.
Now, I have a decision to make. Do I stop the naps during the day so he'll go to bed peacefully at night? I really love nap time, as I'm sure that most mom's do. It is my time to clean or read, which is what I've been doing lately. I've been sucked in to the popular vampire books, and I'm addicted.

Well, after ten minutes with the door locked, he finally cashed them in!

oh, giving up naptime is sooo sad. I too cherish that time to do whatever I want. I need that time to prep for the after school onslaught. Cute pictures of your family in your last posts. The snow makes me cringe! Tell Jason Overbaugh hello! I haven't seen him in years!!
Oh I hate hearing them cry by the door! Maybe you could try naps every other day.. it's worked for some of my kids
Poor little Max! Those pictures are priceless!I love it, he finally just crashed! So... What twilight book are you on? I read them all, and really enjoyed them (although, I am not one of those crazed "twilighters". I am however excited for the movie to come out in December. I showed Jason the preview and asked if he wanted to see it with me.... he said something like "I'd rather eat a gun."
Giving up naps is hard but worth it with earlier bed times. Just have quiet time with a video or something. Good Luck.
Alex has been doing the same thing, not falling asleep until late! Poor Max, asleep at the door! I hope you don't have to give up your nap time, I LOVE mine!

I vote nights. While I love nap time, my kids give them up at 14 months. well I make them because they wake up cranky and it's not worth it. But I tell you, it does make bedtime piece of cake. I LOVE that every night at 7:00pm my home is quiet and it's my time.

The naps are great, but I know how hard it is to give up. Having three the same age they give up a lot earlier. You can always do a movie or have him watch something he has never seen, but all in all you need your beauty sleep too.
Oh man, I love nap as well...very hard decision. Cute pics though!
ps. I havent worked forever and I love it...i also love that i mostly do just stock. Thank you, thank you to linda. I guess my 3 yrs has finally paid off! See you soon im sure!
